Our client is a key player in the world of optical and audiology, recognised not only for being a multi generation owned family business, but for impressive growth and data driven marketing activity.
Despite their success, they faced challenges in key areas such as efficiency and customer acquisition.
Objective
As our client expanded into more stores, they experienced difficulty in scaling up a multi channel communication plan and concurrently, a multi channel marketing plan. They needed to get important information to their patients depending on their optical or hearing journey, as well as budgeting for an acquisition marketing plan.
They asked us to assess their existing operation and provide a solution to ensure they communicated with patients at key touchpoints across a 5 year journey.
Solution
Having created a ‘map’ of the important touchpoints, the communications were split into printed letters, postcards, emails and SMS. All patients would receive a combination of those messages at different points on their path.
After demonstrating our print and email / SMS platform and successfully providing a proof of concept, a schedule was agreed and upon.
Retrieving a data refresh each week we then run the files through various processes to automate the production and broadcast of the letters, postcards, emails and MS messages.
